Last spring he was sitting around with some of Boston’s comedy greats, and they got to talking about all of his CDs and how they are all different material. Someone made the suggestion of ‘Googling’ the ‘longest comedy performance’ and Tommy Tiernan of Ireland’s record set in April of 2009 came up. Off – handedly Marley said ‘I can do that!’ Tiernan set the record with a 36-hour, 15-minute performance called Testamental.
Bob Marley along with the Comedy Connection have teamed up with the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital to turn the longest comedy show ever into a fundraiser for the hospital, and Marley says ‘I’m Freakin’ out but I’ll give it a shot.’

In order for Marley to win the title he needs to beat Lindsay Webb of Australia’s record of 38 hours and 6 minutes set in October of 2009.
